So, I hate everything about the new generation. I think that's clear..I don't want to have nothing to do with party people, happy false junkies, modern age stereotypes.

Party people are just posers, just as the happy false junkies... as for the modern stereotypes, I rather shoot myself with a gun than having to interfere in any way with the kids. I hate the kids. I see them everywhere, even if they're in their 20's or more...they never seem to grow up. At least, mentally speaking. This new poser like fashion about the music everyone likes...it pisses me off! Right now..i suggest you Mono Men - Right now (Stop Dragging Me down -1990). It defines just how I feel...in this particular moment. Hate, anger, frustration.

I mean, I always feel like that..I just can handle it better when I don't follow my instinct. However, there were times I wanted to bit the crap out of someone who said The Troggs sucks. I don't care about the standards, I don't give a shit about how we should all live in peace and harmony, cause we can't! I mean, if the world started with just two people, there would be fights and death! People don't get along, even relatives, even friends hate eachother.

I know I can offend people, that doesn't make me necessarily better than them.. (Mono Men - No Way Back), but still ... I rarely feel the need to apologize. Don't expect me to care about anything.

Melvins -Roman Bird Dog - this synchronizes so deeply with my state of mind right now.  This song reads through my ill humor and sulkiness as nothing else does. I hate the fucking posers who claim they know everything about punk rock and the early metal scene, while wearing their leather jackets and jeans ripped on  purpose. Cat Butt - Journey To The Center Of (1989)

How could you not taste this awesome dirty grunge from the late 80's? Cat Butt is a group from Seattle, Washington formed in 1987. Their one and only album, Journey To The Center of was produced by Jack Endino (brilliant) in 1989. It was meant to gain massive succes through a large U.S. tour that followed, but unfortunately Cat Butt disbanded in 1990.

Since you can't find anywhere to buy this; since this band was like a shotgun that shortly appeared and disappeared, causing a deep wound to this impressive album, it is meant to live forever and I think anyone sould at least listen to this and apreciate the effort.

Mudhoney - Superfuzz Bigmuff (1988)

This is one of my favorite Mudhoney albums that never fails to impress me how complex and dirty it sounds. This is the band's debut album, released  in  October 1988 through record label Sub Pop. Every song on it is fucking amazing to my brain, it's like a wave of adrenaline and pure mania. I think Hate The Police is one of of the best covers I have ever heard, making The Dicks message sound even more distorted and angry. Touch Me I'm Sick and Sweet Young Thing Ain't Sweet No More have always give me the strange feeling of déjà écouté et senti, while If I Think and  In 'n' Out Of Grace are just pieces of art. There's even more on that album, sensationally capturing the specific Mudhoney sound. This is an inspirational album, to me, and probably to anyone who has ever got the change to check out the music there's no longer been made today.

The album was named after two of the band's favorite guitar effects pedals: the Univox Super-Fuzz and the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, which helped to provide the band's signature "dirty" sound. The cover artwork is a photograph of frontman Mark Arm (left) and guitarist Steve Turner (right) by photographer Charles Peterson.
During initial release, the EP sold incredibly poorly (even by Sub Pop standards), however it has since been acknowledged as one of the seminal records of the Seattle scene. When I first heard about Iggy and The Stooges having a gig in Romania, I said I definitely had to go. So it's set on Aug. 27th, in Tg. Mureș (Peninsula Fest). But then I found out about the lineup and it instantly caused me nauseas and dizziness..stroke me in the head like 20 000 bricks per second.

It's sad to me that it actually came to the point where bullshit got all mixed up with something that I though it was pure and real as it once used to; back in the seventies, when Iggy Pop was first performing the songs on Raw Power and everything was different. No interfering in any way with this stupid electronic crap that today, however, didn't stop him to share the scene with. And it's not the first time. He's gone with the trends, Iggy Pop is just an image, just a picture of what he once was. It's not about the age, it's about attitude. He's turned everything to profit. And I hate when that' s happening.

Times have changed and I know it's gonna get worse, until people won't have to play their instruments anymore, and the vocalists will be voiceless, and the audience will gather robots... It's already happening, don't you see?

The Jesus Lizard - Discography (1990-1998)

The Jesus Lizard was an American alternative rock and noise rock band formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas, and based in Chicago, Illinois from 1989 to 1999. The band reunited in late 2008 for touring the following year, but has since remained inactive.
While never finding much mainstream success, the Jesus Lizard were known as "a leading noise rock band in the American independent underground…[who] turned out a series of independent records filled with scathing, disembowelling, guitar-driven pseudo-industrial noise, all of which received positive reviews in underground music publications and heavy college-radio play." After a brief run as a recording-only project based in Austin, the three founding members relocated to Chicago, finding kindred spirits in recording engineer Steve Albini and the Touch & Go Records imprint. In 1989, they expanded into a four-piece and began operating as a live band, moving through popularity in both Chicago's alternative and noise rock scenes into an international audience. Despite releasing a split record with leading alt-rockers Nirvana and later signing a contract with Capitol Records, the band failed to find commercial success amid the alternative rock explosion of the mid-1990s, due in part to their comparatively experimental sound. After disbanding, they remained a popular and respected staple of the underground rock community, which was reflected by the ticket sales and media attention granted to them in the course of their 2009 reunion tour. Flipper - Gone Fishin' (1984)

Gone Fishin' is a 1984 LP album, the second studio release by San Francisco punk/noise rock band Flipper. The album's artwork featured a depiction of Flipper's tour van as a ready-to-cut-out-and-assemble centerpiece, with similar cutouts of the four band members on the back cover. At the time of the album's release, Subterranean Records offered extra empty covers of the album by mail order for $2 for those Flipper fans that wanted to have a cover to cut up and assemble. Flipper - Generic Flipper (1982)

Flipper is a punk band formed in San Francisco, California in 1979, continuing in often erratic fashion until the mid-1990s, then reuniting in 2005.
Flipper was founded from former members of the Sleepers and Negative Trend. Founding member and original vocalist Ricky Williams, who is credited for naming the band, was fired from the band before any recordings
Flipper made their first recordings available in late 1979 via the SF Underground 7" compilation series released through Steve Tupper's newly-formed Subterranean Records. In 1981, a 7" comprising "Love Canal/Ha Ha Ha" followed, and the original lineup made two full-length studio albums on Subterranean, 1982's Generic and a 1984 follow up Gone Fishin'.
Mark Arm says in the 2003 documentary American Hardcore that Flipper's charm as a band lies in their ability to upset audiences, while attracting their undivided attention and curiosity at the same time.
Two more singles on Subterranean followed, "Brainwash"/"Sex Bomb" and "Old Lady That Swallowed The Fly"/"Get Away" before Album (also known as Generic Flipper). "Sex Bomb" is a seven minute track with only one lyric, "She's a sex bomb, my baby, yeah." The original release of the "Sex Bomb" single featured individually hand-made covers.
The follow-up studio album in 1984, Gone fishin, featured the opening track "The Lights, The Sound, The Rhythm, The Noise", "Survivors of the Plague" and "Sacrifice". The multi-colored delivery step van pictured on the cover was also where Ted Falconi lived when the group was not on the road. The van, along with figures representing the band and their equipment could be cut out and folded with Subterranean offering extra covers through a small mail order fee.
In 1984, the ROIR cassette label released a live Flipper document of a CBGB's performance entitled "Blow'n Chunks" that became available on CD in 1990, and goes in and out of print. A 2001 reissue includes four outtakes from the live sessions. The performance included material from all phases of the band's existence thus far.
Flipper entitled their 1986 double live album, Public Flipper Ltd. The album unfolded into a board game with a cutout spinner and game cards with Subterranean once again providing extra covers through mail order.
The original lineup began splintering after a period of touring, and singer and core member Will Shatter died on December 9, 1987 of a drug overdose after forming A3I. Subterranean packaged the band's singles and some rarities into a collection entitled "Sex Bomb Baby" released in 1987. The cassette edition and later CD rerelease featured three bonus tracks.
By the early 1990s, the band resurfaced with a new single on Subterranean called "Someday"/"Distant Illusion" and began performing again, releasing an all-new studio album in 1993, American Grafishy. Rick Rubin re-released Album Generic Flipper and the singles compilation Sex Bomb Baby on his Infinite Zero label. By 1997, Flipper's music went largely out of print, with Rubin still holding onto the rights, though tentative plans had been made for the band's catalogue to be re-released on Rubin's American Recordings in 2007. As part of a legal settlement, Subterranean Records was awarded the right to reissue its Flipper records on vinyl in the United States.
The band continued playing from 1990 to 1995. In 1992, the new lineup released "American Grafishy" on Rick Rubin's Def American imprint. Replacement bass player John Dougherty died of a drug overdose.
Loose once commented to SF Weekly on the band's history as "like Spinal Tap, except the bass player keeps dying" ^.
In 2002 Bruce Loose, using a cane to get around, returned for a one off gig at Berkeley's 924 Gilman Street space as "Not Flipper".
The original members of Flipper, barring the late Will Shatter (with Bruno DeSmartass replacing Shatter once again as he had done for a 1982 tour), reunited to support CBGB on August 22 and August 28, 2005. Singer Bruce Loose appeared on stage with a cane. This line-up of Flipper then continued to play live again beginning in 2006, with plans for a new album to be recorded and released in 2007.
In December 2006, DeSmartass was replaced by Krist Novoselic on bass for a tour of the UK and Ireland, as well as several US shows.The song "Scentless Apprentice", which the band recorded (without Novoselic) for a 2000 Nirvana tribute album, was added to the band's setlist.
In 2008, the band recorded a new album with Novoselic, Flipper have announced that they will finally be releasing their new album as a "twin album" featuring 1 album, titled 'Love', with new studio material and a second live album, titled 'Fight' featuring both old and new songs. Both of these albums were scheduled to be released on May 19, 2009. In addition, Novoselic announced his departure from the band in September 2009 due to responsibilities at home, forcing a tour cancellation. It was announced on the band's myspace site that Rachel Thoele, formerly of Frightwig, Mudwomen, and Van Gough's Daughter is the new bassist for Flipper.
Also at the end of 2008, Flipper albums were reissued in a variety of formats. Water Records reissued four albums on compact disc: Album – Generic Flipper, Gone Fishin', Public Flipper Limited, and Sex Bomb Baby! Their reissue on vinyl was set for 2009 by the label 4 Men With Beards an imprint of the Runt label. Lastly, on January 6, 2009, those four albums were released digitally.In the United Kingdom, the Flipper reissues were released by Domino Records.

Generic Flipper is the debut album by the San Francisco band Flipper. Many fans say it is the band's finest release, and it is definitely their most acclaimed. In November 2007, Blender magazine ranked it #86 on their list of the 100 greatest "indie rock" albums of all time.^[2] It is also referred to as Album, Album: Generic, Generic Flipper, and just Generic. It is considered a groundbreaking album, the first album to play with the sludge and heaviness of early Black Sabbath but still be considered a punk album.^[3]
Generic Flipper was issued on CD for the first time by American Recordings (formerly Def American) in 1992 and later deleted. In 2008, the rights reverted to Flipper, and the album was reissued December 9th, 2008 by Water Records.
